Gamilaroi photographer, Farley Ward has always been surrounded by the world of art.  As a child, Farley's parents owned a screen printing business and Farley would watch her father work tirelessly, creating and printing new designs.  In more recent years, Farley was further immersed into the art world, joining forces with her Dad to build the largest, Indigenous owned and operated gallery on the Sunshine Coast.

Farley's father helped to create an art program for Aboriginal people with a disability and thier carers.  After his passing the art group was renamed in his and another Elders honour, NuunaRon.  NuunaRon continues to celebrate success.

Growing up in a highly artistic environment inspired her to fulfil her own creative passion, which she found in her own art and photography.

Farley's is passionate about using her photography skills to conserve and protect cultural knowledge and traditions to be passed on to the next generation.  Farley has worked in remote communities across Australia.
